About Me

Hey all! My name is Ashlee Oslund. I am currently a junior at the University of Wyoming studying communication and business marketing with an emphasis in public relations. I hope to work as a PR representative once I graduate. Ideally I want to be a PR rep for a professional sports team (Chicago White Sox preferably . . . or ANY professional baseball team)!  Although this is my ideal career, I would be thrilled to work for a PR firm or non-profit organization. I look forward to my junior year here at UW and anxiously await my graduation.

But before that much anticipated day arrives, I am kept extremely busy; with hardly a moment in the day to catch my breathe. However, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am an initiated member of Pi Beta Phi and am actively involved within my chapter and the Greek community. I’m very thankful for such a great college experience and feel blessed for all the great friendships I’ve made.

A little information about myself, I know you are all dying to know! I was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Yes, I’m a Wyomingite, and at least for today I can say I’m proud of it! I then moved to Laramie, Wyoming when I was 13 years old . . . and have stayed since then. For the record, we don’t go to school in a wagon or riding a horse, like some people assume and for those of you who aren’t sure, Wyoming is indeed a state (right next to Colorado).

Family is one of the most important things to me. I am the youngest of three, 2 girls (including myself) and 1 brother. It’s pretty evident that I am the youngest of the family, since I was the only child in my family to stay in my hometown for college. My sister is a nurse and my brother is a lineman, both in Nebraska, where my Dad was originally from. Go Big Red! Both my parents work for the University of Wyoming, so I am grateful somedays to have the opporunity to see them. I’m just kidding Mom! I’m happy to see you everyday! 🙂

And on that note, I better wrap this up! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to shoot me an email or find me on facebook!

Thanks for checking out my blog!
